Tuesday, March 14 marked the date of the much anticipated ribbon cutting for the new $50 million Golf & Activities Center at Boca West Country Club. Club president and COO, Jay DiPietro, CCM, was all smiles as he gathered board members outside the front doors of the stunning 153,000 square foot facility. It was a grand and glorious day at Boca West, as the ceremonial red ribbon was cut, and jubilant cheers filled the air. The exquisite double-leaded glass, arched doors opened, and the esteemed group entered the stately lobby for a narrated tour of the expansive new club addition by the ever-enthusiastic, Jay DiPietro. Don’t let the title of Golf & Activities Center fool you, the new expansion was meticulously designed to showcase extraordinary interior venues that incorporate coveted design features such as luxurious accoutrements, elegant furnishings, large window vistas, state-of-the-art technology, and spectacular contemporary artwork. Wide, gracious corridors welcomed the first group tour, as members and guests marveled at the lavish function areas, the impressive amenities, and the posh architectural elements.
The new facility includes an upscale mirrored boutique, spacious new card rooms for ladies and gents, and a grand “activity” room that serves as a ballroom, or that can be sectioned off into three separate, distinguishable rooms for smaller meetings or functions. In addition, there are new chic and stylish men and women locker rooms that emulate the classic sporting lifestyle of the club, a richly appointed Golf Shoppe, and a voluminous outdoor cart parking and cart storage area. Certainly the crowning glory of the new center is the sensational dining venues, from the elegant new signature restaurant, bar and lounge, Prime Cut, to the eclectic, casual, multi-outlet, Grand Central complex with an array of unique, made-to-order dining choices, and authentic memorabilia, reminiscent of a stroll in an historical NYC neighborhood.
